Biography
I'm 51 years old and live in Glenolden, Pennsylvania with my wife Peg. Peg and I are celebrating our nineteenth year together.
Professional Background
I enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war where I worked as an electronic technician on a training base for F4 pilots. After leaving the military, I took engineering courses at Delaware County Community College and Penn State University before pursuing a career in industrial construction in 1980. I began my career as a draftsman and advanced to my current position as a project planner and project management consultant. I have managed multi-million dollar construction projects at power houses, refineries, chemical plants, and paper mills. I like solving problems and getting things done.
Community Service
I have served on both the planning commission and the zoning hearing board in my community during which time I was active with the Republican Party in Delaware County.
Recreation/Hobbies
For recreation, my wife and I enjoy camping and vacationing in the woods. We tented for years, but recently purchased a travel trailer. We love watching and identifying wildlife. I also serve as a volunteer with the Nature Conservancy whenever I have the time to spare. As a director at a local gun club, I enjoy shooting and introducing others to firearms and responsible gun handling techniques.
